The weather has been so beautiful and warm lately, I couldn't pass up going on a long run. Not to mention my partner in crime is in Wales right now for a football tournament, so I decided to run to the city centre and do a little exploring. On my run I started noticing all the colorful and unique doors that were everywhere! So all of these were snapped with the Iphone. I love all the colors in this quaint city, and I feel so lucky to get to see so many cool sites just a few miles from our front door. I will never get tired of seeing the castle and cathedral!

It's only winter when the sun goes down
These pictures were taken at Cole's mission farewell, and the day he went through the temple.
The title of this post was the subject line of his email that he sent to the family today. It hits the nail right on the head about the weather here though! It has been beautiful and spring like during the day, and at night it gets chilly and windy! There is something special about knowing my little brother is only 4 hours away from me, dedicating his life to the Lord for two years in London. I feel like we have this special connection now, that we will be able to keep forever. Experiencing the same weather, accents, food, as well as a mutual love for the country and the people that live here. I can't wait to talk about these special memories for the rest of our lives! I always find comfort in the emails he sends every monday. He is such a happy and positive missionary, and his attitude is so refreshing. He is such an example to me. Thanks for always starting my Mondays off on the right note, Cole!

Valentine's Weekend
Our first Valentine's day as a married couple was in Pennsylvania, and we celebrated with Papa John's pizza, sparkling cider, and a movie. Last Valentine's day we were in Wilmington, North Carolina and spent the day touring an old Battleship, and were the only ones on the ship! We got a few comments from the workers about how this was an interesting Valentine's activity. We ended the day with a crab feast at Michael's Seafood. This Valentine's day Daniel surprised me with a getaway to Newcastle and dinner at a Brazilian restaurant. My sweet mom even sent us an English Lavender plant, I can't wait for it to be in bloom, it will be beautiful! On Saturday we drove down the coast, and were the only crazies outside in the cold and rain, but it was so beautiful. I can't wait to see where we will be next Valentine's day! Maybe we will keep the tradition of being in a different place every year.
